StudentLeaders (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) is a crowdsourced directory of recent Nigerian graduate student leaders. By using this platform — whether submitting, confirming, or browsing — you agree to the terms below.
You must be at least 16 years old with an active Nigerian phone number. When you sign up, you provide your real name, school, and graduation year. Fake profiles will be permanently banned and any pending earnings forfeited.
You submit the name, phone number, institution, graduation year, and leadership role of a person other than yourself. By submitting, you confirm that:
You may only confirm an entry if you personally know the individual and believe the details shown are accurate. Confirming entries you have no knowledge of, or colluding with others to falsely verify entries, is grounds for a ban.
If you reject an entry, you’ll be asked why and given the option to submit corrected information. Rejections are logged.
Rewards are earned as follows:
Earnings are credited to your account immediately when an entry is verified. Withdrawal is subject to completing identity verification and providing valid bank details. We reserve the right to withhold or reverse earnings tied to fraudulent, duplicate, or manipulated entries.
Campaign windows have fixed end dates. Any pending (unverified) entries at the end of a campaign do not pay out.
Verified leader records — name, institution, role, and phone number — are made available to vetted brands and organisations who want to connect with graduate student leaders for sponsorships, activations, job opportunities, and similar outreach.
If you are a leader whose data appears on the platform and you want it removed, contact us at the address below and we will remove your record within 7 working days.
We may suspend or permanently ban your account if you:
Banned users forfeit all pending and unpaid earnings. We may take action without prior notice where we believe fraud is involved.
StudentLeaders is a crowdsourced platform. We take reasonable steps to verify data through community consensus, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any record. We are not liable for any decisions brands, employers, or other parties make based on information obtained from this directory.
The platform is provided as-is. We may modify features, reward amounts, or campaign timelines at our discretion with reasonable notice posted on the site.
When you create an account, we collect:
We do not collect your location, contacts, or any data from your device beyond what is needed to run the website.
For each leader entry, we store their name, phone number, institution, graduation year, leadership body, and position. Phone numbers are stored securely and are not visible to other users until the entry is verified.
We recognise that this data is submitted by third parties, not by the leaders themselves. For this reason, any submitted leader can request removal of their data by contacting us.
We do not sell your personal account data (your own name, phone, or bank details) to anyone.
We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any party not described here.
Phone numbers and payment details are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to the database is restricted to authorised personnel only. We use industry-standard hosting and authentication practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against breaches, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
You can request to see, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you delete your account, your personal details are removed but anonymised records of your platform activity (e.g. confirmation counts) may be retained for fraud prevention.
If you are a submitted leader and want your record removed, we will do so within 7 working days of your request.
